A marvellous plot that leaves nothing to be desired

After the first book had turned out to be so great, I could hardly wait for this one.

At first, Rowling makes the mistake of copying the structure of the first book so that it starts at the insufferable Dursleys again, then there is a journey to Hogwarts which ends in a welcome dinner, and so on. However, once the proceedings at the school are underway, she presents us with a marvellous plot that leaves nothing to be desired: everything that is mentioned is woven in at some point and plays its part towards the very satisfactory end.
