That was a very fast read. I got this book because I've always been curious about the movie. Now that I've finished the book, I'm going to watch the film and see how (or if) they pulled this off.

Obviously, by the speed with which I devoured this book, it got under my skin. One mystery after another, with a nameless protagonist and her nameless peers, all in a setting that evokes Cthulu but never expressly lays it out (and that's a good thing.) I look forward to unraveling more of Southern Reach.

But for now, I'm starting up the movie.
