Stonehouse is a bit weak as an author, and a bit chauvinistic. However, the women featured were still a fascinating read.

Fascinating examination of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald
4 stars
Quite a good compilation of information on the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald. It contains excerpts from the Coast Guard investigation as well as the Lake Carriers' Association's rebuttal. The edition I read contained information from various diving expeditions in the 80s and 90s. All together a very fascinating look at a maritime disaster.
