Sofia Q Holand: 3 Stepbrothers (Paperback, Xulon Press) 5 stars

Okay so I had read it in wattpad and it is still one of my favourite books out there. Even now I sometimes scroll through the part which I enjoy a lot. The character development, their past, their present life with me crying for Tori in some scenes and smiling at their interactions and it's definitely not one of the stepbrothers her love interest which I really appreciate. I am so glad that the author got it available in handbooks. Would really appreciate it if there is a second part of this book.

Okay, I wasn't expecting it. I have never thought I would cry over a character whom I disliked in my reading of the first book of Pip. Like seriously Stan bloody Forbes. Initially, I thought it was Charlie Green, the new character, who was Child Brunswick. But it was someone else actually.

The twists and turns, it was quite an unexpected journey. Many times, I thought that I had cracked it but then comes another twist with roller-coaster emotions.

And is it me only who thinks Pip is going to go the dark path in the third book? Especially the ending line regarding the gun being always there with her. Well, I'm excited and slightly terrified as well regarding the upcoming journey of Pip in her third book.

Holly Jackson: Good Girl's Guide to Murder (2019, Egmont Books, Limited) 4 stars

The killer was unexpected. Pip has never seen it coming and neither did I. Well it was regarding only one killer. And yes there are actually two killers. The second killer was able to be guessed after their cars crossed seeing the oddish reaction on that person's face. Her reaction was wrong... totally wrong.

The major twist that I felt was the girl found with the first killer not to be Andie Bell. I always thought Andie would be alive... somewhere. But it all changed seeing the strange reaction on the second killer's face when their cars crossed and as the story progressed I felt more that something was wrong with that person.

Like seriously?! I didn't see it coming. Like who is stupid enough to bet their own life just to trap some of his peers? Well, it was a good novel though. Riled up my whole emotions. The major twist would be Bronwyn finding that it was actually Simon who did the whole car accident planning and Jake, the controlling boyfriend, was involved in all this just to trap his ex-girlfriend.
