Okay, I wasn't expecting it. I have never thought I would cry over a character whom I disliked in my reading of the first book of Pip. Like seriously Stan bloody Forbes. Initially, I thought it was Charlie Green, the new character, who was Child Brunswick. But it was someone else actually.

The twists and turns, it was quite an unexpected journey. Many times, I thought that I had cracked it but then comes another twist with roller-coaster emotions.

And is it me only who thinks Pip is going to go the dark path in the third book? Especially the ending line regarding the gun being always there with her. Well, I'm excited and slightly terrified as well regarding the upcoming journey of Pip in her third book.
