Perfidy reviewed Then She Was Gone: A Novel by Lisa Jewell

This was a Cousins' Book Club choice. At first, I was not enthusiastic about the book. It appeared at first to be a murder mystery of sorts - but one with little intrigue. The narrative does pick up pace after about a third of the book. I could not put the book down after reaching around two-thirds of it. The story's closure is satisfying and emotionally impactful.
