So, first of all, this is a brisk read. Dennis combines several interesting concepts to build a fairly, internally consistent 'universe'.

Like much of what is self-published on Kindle Unlimited, the absence of an editor and a writing discipline results in a scattered, wondering storyline with an unstructured plotline. It's probably a disservice to the old school comic book, but these kinds of books most remind me of that genre.

So that's a harsh critique perhaps, but those who are looking for an undemanding escape may find this book worthwhile. I am - but didn't.
