'I had poison for breakfast.' Mr Snicket discovers this & sets out to solve the mystery of how he came to be poisoned. He says it's a book of philosophy & it kind of is. I admire the love of language & literature that shines through. It's quirky, smart, funny, rambling & strangely perfect.

Review of 'Wrath' on 'Goodreads'
5 stars
This book was just beautiful in so many ways.
The language - beautifully written.
The story - exciting & interesting
The issues - really hitting the mark - environment, lockdown, teen mental health, peer pressure, families.
All of that in just 131 pages. It's brilliant!
Looking at the mixed reviews, I think you need to look at this book in context. It's a Barrington Stoke - dyslexia friendly with a reading age of 8 & an interest level for teens.
It's extraordinary that the author can fit so much interest into so few pages with accessible vocabulary.
Would highly recommend this one
