This book is so powerful, so important & so relevant. A story of 2 teens - Nat & Sammy, living 2 different lives, each with their own struggles.
Sammy is Eritrean, journeying to the UK, he's trying to escape & find a better life.
Nat is British, dealing with grief & guilt, swimming is her escape.
Told in absolutely breathtaking narrative verse, this book is astounding.
A story of immigration, hard-hitting, the author doesn't shy away from tackling the issues head-on, yet full of hope.
I cried all the tears. Seriously stunning writing.
