From what I knew about the story going in, I wasn't surprised by some of the twists and turns the narratives of Rachel, Megan, and Anna presented. That being said, the conclusion was fairly obvious, and I was hoping Hawkins would take a more creative approach to the mystery behind the lives of "Jess and Jason." Another issue I have is the need to connect everyone's story so seamlessly; there is never a coincidental meeting or strange encounter. It's far too clean. Nevertheless, the novel was well-written, the characters were fleshed out, and it was a fun read. I just wish Hawkins weaved a more unique denouement.
