I liked it better than the first and got right through it, so the plot is engaging and fast. But there is sometime missing for me and I cannot put my finger on it. In this book he is not so morose as the first but Murphy's reaction to him and circumstantial evidence makes my blood boil. He likes her so much yet I have come to hate her from these two books. We will see if it gets any better. So better that the first but still not the great book I keep thinking it'll be while reading it. The world is well drawn and interesting but the last minute saves are reminiscent of Star Trek. Still I like Harry and will keep on reading hoping the next will blow me away. I was still on the fence between 3 stars and 4 stars, but the plot pulled me the whole way and I loved all the characters (except Murphy) so I bumped it to 4.
