At first i was annoyed that they got magic in my scifi, but it was a fun ride and the third book brought it home. I feel satisfied by this series.
@ansate I read the first, and keep trying to decide if I want to finish out the series or not.
@whami The first had a real ending, didn’t feel like the leadin to more. Which is kind of great! I’ll just say I enjoyed the rest more than i was expecting to. Maybe it’s just cause i had low expectations?
@ansate I had low expectations of the first one. I mean the titles don't sound especially promising. But I was extremely surprised. I think I'll read the others at some point, but probably need a reread on the first as well.
