@athousandcateaus I don't know if Adrian Tchaikovsky considers himself a furry, but a lot of his books are furry-adjacent. besides that series, he has a trilogy with uplifted spiders and octopuses, and a series with insect-humanoid civilizations, and a related trilogy with mostly mammalian shapeshifters

@gray17@mastodon.social yeah the main reason i listened to this was because my partner was really into his spider books and also liked this one quite a bit. may get around to that series in the future.

@athousandcateaus yeah, the spiders trilogy is great. his shapeshifter trilogy (The Tiger and the Wolf, etc) is also interesting but pretty vicious. Like, the wolf shifters hunt and sacrifice deer shifters
