I did enjoy this book in terms of learning something and the style. It was a damning analysis but I found myself stopping too many times after a few paragraphs and switching to another book.
[This book] represents the first time that all of Le Guin novellas have been collected in a single volume. Featuring …
I listened to this one. I'd walk my dog and put this on and be transported almost exactly like those Audible commercials. Some characterizations felt a bit stiff here and there but a thoroughly enjoyable book. It's the first time I've ever empathized with smart spiders.
The series ends strong. Entertaining, suspenseful, brutal, wondrous, thought-provoking, and with fantastic characters. I'm definitely a fan and will read many more Jemisin books and series.
I'm reading Tacky's Revolt by Vincent Brown so I went back to this book and reread a few chapters. I remember how hard it was to read the first time around mostly because of how dense the histories are. But that was younger me getting in the way. I think I might reread the full book soon.
I read all 9 volumes but don’t want to rate and review each. I’ll keep this simple. This is one of the best comics I’ve read because the story is just so well told. Brian K. I look forward to them returning to this series as I hear they're on hiatus now. These characters are brilliant.

Half of these essays are about stuff I mostly don't care about, like Fallout Boy, My Chemical Romance, etc., but that doesn't mean i didn't like this book. I really did. I don't think I've ever heard some of these bands. The heart warming turns of language and great observations of modern culture kept me going.
I found myself laughing aloud more often than I thought I would for a book about cars. The histories of the automotive industry, drivers, laws, and the concerns of the day were fun. Albert speeds us along that interstate with ease. The future of cars is wrapped up nicely in the Kids Today chapter -- with the dwindling "pure experience of driving" and the looming most luxurious car: the "car they'll neither own nor drive."
