@pdotb@wyrms.de I very much agree. I abandoned this book as after 10% we had not even mentioned the fire and spent almost all our time learning about bitumen and the Hudson's Bay company, which is not really what I was expecting.

An interesting read and rare to get a look into things from the Soviet side. However, if I did have one gripe with this book it's that it just kept pivoting back to the USA. There is scope to talk a bit about NASA's approach to colour how the Soviets did things but there are entire chapters that don't mention anything outside the USA. I would however still recommend this.
