It’s a romance, sure, but it’s a book about (found) family even more. It was a little sad and sweet and still happily ever after. Also Emily Henry writes the most amazing (and frequently funny) descriptions. Here’s a favorite:
“… feeling like a woman in a tampon commercial: overjoyed, gorgeous, and impossibly comfortable – ready for any highly physical activity, including but not limited to bowling with friends or getting a piggyback ride from the unobtrusively handsome guy hired by central casting to play my boyfriend.”
