finished reading Wool by Hugh Howey

Hugh Howey: Wool (Hardcover, 2013, Simon & Schuster)

If you're coming to "Wool" from the "Silo" TV series, the plot unfolds in the book a lot differently than in the show. We end up pretty much in the same place, but we get there on a different journey. I think I like the book's treatment a bit better.

I read this the closest to seeing the companion series on TV so the comparisons came easily. (I've read all after seeing the series once.) The TV series didn't seem to stray as far from the book in this one as in some of the others.

Good for fans of the TV show

I picked this up and read it on Kindle via Libby while watching the fourth season of the show. Re-watched season one--this book's story--after finishing the book. The book is great for background on the characters in the show that a TV show just doesn't have time for. The show follows the book well except for the usual sort of deviations that are not unexpected.
