Frankly, the story is mostly ridiculous... Don't want to spoil, so won't tell anything here, but too much is much too much... And there's a 2nd book (#22) to get to the end of this mess... Hope it's better...
Found an English version, but although I read a lot of other books and mostly live online in this language, Petals of Blood has been so far very difficult for me. I prefer to stop here and try to find a translated version (to French)
