I was a bit sceptical since I started watching the newly released tv show Shadow & Bone just before getting started with Six of Crows and got annoyed by the show so much that I expected the worst from this book (since the show is such a failure for me, having loved Shadow & Bone the book series).

Happily, I was mistaken and this book was very good. I really enjoyed it a lot and cannot wait to continue with this book series. The characters are quite interesting and even though the story itself is well rounded (and ends in no major cliffhangers), the kind of preview of what is to come is very interesting.
