Siddhartha Mukherjee: The Emperor of All Maladies (2018, Simon & Schuster Audio and Blackstone Audio)

The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer is a book written by Siddhartha …

This is a great book, and everyone slightly interested in cancer should read it. It is humbling and sometimes heartbreaking.

I "read" it as an audiobook, so this could be better in the print version. But what I found most confusing (and why I think I must read it again) is that since the chapters follow specific stories, the timeline of the discoveries got mixed up in my head when comingo into the 20th century. The final chapter helps summarize everything quite neatly, but if you want to read it, probably get some notes.
