At this point no one is going to convince me that Sade wasn’t just a rapist and misogynist.
Even if we consider his association with the libertine movement—given the fact women have been subjugated to male violence so long he hardly challenged moral principles, he just maintained the status quo of male violence 🤷
If I wasn’t more interested in hearing about the curse I’d probably stop reading book.
