This is one of those books that I always go back to when I get discouraged about writing. Stephen King has a way of honoring the art of story telling while not taking himself too seriously. The memoir portion is inspiring but my favorite is the nuts and bolts advice on writing itself. Lots of useful information.

This book seems to be spending more time trying to convince people that there isn't free will than discussing the subject. I'm convinced now explain why. Anyone with enough common sense to read about this subject doesn't need to be convinced.
