My previous note really sums it up. This is an excellent read with good people doing their thing as the world happens outside, beautifully rendered. I'll also add that the ending is very satisfactory. I think I'll pick up something by the same author next. Great holiday reading.

I've been binging on it today, it is quite hard to put down. Not because it is full of cliffhangers or that it's a great adventure, but because it's fun, witty, and paints a richly detailed picture of both the people and the situations and I want to see more of this high-definition movie.
