Kind of pulp-fiction-y writing, and not the best characters, but an interesting premise and compelling read. Compelling as in, even when I felt I knew what was happening I wanted to read more to confirm it.

Review of 'Be a Unicorn' on 'Goodreads'
3 stars
Cute book, but seems to be mass/corporate produced cuteness to ride on the unicorn craze rather than some inspired work from an independent artist which got picked up by a publisher.

Review of 'The soul of an octopus' on 'Goodreads'
3 stars
Not what I was hoping for from the title. More a description of a fun set of experiences with octopuses than an exploration of consciousness and what we know about octopus cognition.
