A great follow up to Day of War. This book opens as David has just been given the throne to the northern kingdom. Before he can fully unite the norther and southern tribes, though, the Philistines invade the Elah Valley, and The Lion is forced to take a green, overmatched army to meet the invading threat, trusting in Yahweh once again to give him the Covering.
