I really can't say I was a fan of this, and I've enjoyed so many of Olivia's books -- Spoiler Alert was one of my favorite contemporary romances I've read the past few years -- but this one was not for me. A lot of the story was so fun, and we've got a balancing of three damaged people but it was tough for me to get on board with the main relationship in any real way. And I know this isn't fair at all, but "Professor Google" which appeared like four dozen times, really wasn't working for me - and why does Professor Google need to be male? It's hard to imagine google ever being as irrelevant, but imagine having a Dr Lykos in a book today, people would be like "what's a lykos". Professor Google made me cringe a little inside every time I saw it, and it …

Not the biggest fan of this one, even if I loved a lot of scenes in the book

I read the whole book, but I wouldn't recommend it to friends if they asked, or I'd off the caveat that it wasn't for me. I see lots of people who are really enjoying it, so it might just be a Me Problem. Whereas I'll buy extra copies of Spoiler Alert and give them to friends if they let their guard down, I'm such a fan of that one

It's a lot more YA than I had guessed, and the story moved very slowly, the characters seemed really flat to me. The weird obfuscation of a couple dozen english words for fantasy-world equivalents that meant exactly the same thing, but only those dozen, so you'd need to guess them from context and remember, was odd. Don't plan on reading the second book when it's released.
