This book is for everybody who wants to raise empathetic children that are aware of the people around us and the challenges they might face.

I struggled a little while reading this book, because of its structure. The authors introduce one big topic, and detail it in a lot of small chapters with small sub-categories and anecdotes which are often unrelated and do not really form a red line through the book.

On the other hand, these anecdotes made the topics more relateable. I was able to take a lot of new ideas, viewpoints and inspiration for our own parenting style from it, and it sparked a lot of great discussions with my partner on the topic. While it is written in a very US-centric style and touches a lot of topics which might be more relevant in the US, it is still relevant for people who live in other parts of the world
