Make your heart a stone

I should have "made my heart a stone", I'm never going to emotionally recover from this 😭

An excellent conclusion to what has turned into my favorite Fantasy series. I can't recommend these books enough, they have everything:

Witty banter? ✅ A diverse cast of characters? ✅ A fully realized world on the brink of war? ✅ People navigating complex moral choices? ✅ Political drama? ✅ Romance? ✅ Magic?..... ✅ Whicked cool sword fights??✅

My ONLY complaint is about stuff that gets revealed in the concluding chapters and I can't really write about it here. Still an amazing concluding chapter and a fantastic trilogy!!

Richard Bachman: The Running Man (1999)

One of Stephen King's weaker books

I'm still deciding on where I land with this book, 2/5 might be a bit harsh. Maybe a 2.5 or even a 3?

It's definitely one of the weaker SK books I've read, and it's the latest in a string of his books that I didn't enjoy 😞

I might write more later, but these are my cursory thoughts!
