Eric L. Gansworth: If I ever get out of here (2013, Arthur A. Levine Books)

Review of 'If I ever get out of here' on 'Goodreads'

This was a great little book about friendship and growing up in exclusion. I really identified with the main character in a lot of ways as, while my parents had a good roof over their head many of my father's people didn't. I also remember guys just like the Wedgie King in school. Highly recommend this to anyone growing up poor in a small town (or who had poor friends or family), it may be about life on the rez, but life in poor american can be all too similar.
