Rubbish. A quarter of it is love scenes. Very steamy like fifty shades of grey

Don't even bother with the show. TV adaptations of Sally Rooney's work miss quite a bit of the context that makes the character dynamics and behaviors make sense. Really appreciated the commentary on class as well. Rooney is critical without getting preachy, at least I don't find her so.

Un poquito evangelizador y forzado. Mi cuento favorito fue definitivamente La Sonrisa, es donde la autora se da el lujo de imaginar un desenlace más allá de la estadística. Como lectora me cuesta trabajo conectar emocionalmente con sus narradoras/protagonistas, se sienten un poco como diferentes versiones de Dahlia con peluca. Me gustó el detalle de que algunas historias estén entrelazadas o en el mismo universo narrativo, pero de nuevo a veces se siente forzado o como que los personajes no están lo suficientemente desarrollados. Quizás es porque son cuentos y no hay tanto espacio para hacerlo. Lo que sí es que la autora peca mucho de contar y no mostrar.
