BBC radio 4 version, which is barely 2hrs. I didn't realize I'd gotten this version but oh well, it kind of reads like a short story which is fine. I'm not sure I'd bother re-reading the unabridged now.

Took me a ridiculously long time to finish, mainly because I eye-read it and I spend less time on those books than audiobooks. But! Really enjoyed this installment of this excellent series and hope there are more to come. Actually I've liked everything I've read from Suzanne Palmer.

I found this book via a post by the author on Mastodon. Her description put this right at the top of my tbr list and since ebooks 1 & 2 were on sale I picked them up . I wasn't disappointed! Post climate disaster tale with engaging characters and great worldbuilding. This book is long but never really lagged.
