Interesting, character driven, amazing what Tchaikovsky can dream up about aliens, and having a good pace even if the first chapters were a bit strange. Good to ponder how different alien life would be if we ever encountered it. Good external world building too, even if a bit shallow, but sets the stage very well for the exploration of Shroud and not least the Shrouded. Recommended
