I love this series so far but for obvious reasons they're getting darker. Oh it turns out Mehmed isn't so nice after all. And Radu is also kind of a bastard. I mean, Lada is also brutal, but she gets narration to justify her actions, Mehmed only gets that through Radu's eyes, which have definitely soured on him.
No I don't know much about this period of history, and I'm NOT looking it up until I finish the series.
