The world building is pretty impressive. The theoretical zoology component is one of the more unique bits I've witnessed. Oddly enough, the most engaging for me is the character dialogue. The narrator is clearly skilled, but the script itself is so organic. Each character seems imbued with personality and their chat is quite unique.
Arkady sets the scene of massive interstellar machinations affected by a cast of brilliant and unique individuals. I listen casually so I'm not always current on the plot (maybe shouldn't be writing reviews) but the characters are multi-faceted, the world is deep and intriguing.
