This book is, along with Wyrd Sisters, Reaper Man, Night Watch, and the Thief of Time, one of my top 5 Discworlds. A scathing review of organised religion vs. faith, of belief vs. science, and of the power of people to define their own paths - even when your God is literally talking to you.
