A truly - and i can't stress this enough - gorgeous book. I had to take breaks to savor it. I had to stop after particularly poignant sentences, to contemplate them, to toss them around in my head, to look at them from all angles.
This book is an autobiography. It's the story of a man looking for meaning, making sense of the world around him - and specifically embarking on a journey to come to terms with death. The way he does this is so beautiful. I was just so enthralled by the way he looks at the world, what concerns him, how he wants to understand and dissect but also feel and belong. Love this man's brain. Do read the book for some ~~insightful observations on life, death, purpose, and other hot existential topics.
