This book will make you smarter, which is the author’s intent. Everybody should read it, or at least our leaders (insert a big laugh here). You need biology notion to understand it and lot of curiosity to finish it. As a matter of fact I found it a bit too long, Quammen loves to narrate, but a leaner prose would have been more focused.
