It took me a while, but I got there! Lots of fun, but tinged with sadness at the racism of the time. That aside, I loved the window into the past.

Some good bits in the first third. But far too much aristocrat brown nosing, sycophants, misogynism and antisemitism to recommend. Quite uncomfortable reading, even allowing for what was 'acceptable' at the time. Birth of the superhero it might be, good writing it is not.
