Jenny Graham: Coffee First, Then the World (2023, Bloomsbury Publishing USA) 5 stars

The nature of a book about cycling around the world means it’s going to be in a diary format: I did this, and that happened, and then this happened. Not my favourite style, and sometimes felt a bit of a slog.

But Jenny is a likeable person, and, despite the fact that she was racing to be the fastest woman around the world, there isn’t the macho writing that usually accompanies such accomplishments.

So overall I enjoyed the book, and I’m glad to have read it.
