I tried to like it, but I struggled to keep reading.

It’s labelled as a sci-fi book, but really only about 1% was. The rest could have been a standard spy story on normal Earth.

It didn’t help that the main protagonist was mostly clueless and fairly pathetic, and he was aided by cliché ex-soldier spies.

Overall, I’ve come out a little bit annoyed by the book.
