I picked this book up because of the stunning visuals. I leafed through it and loved the framing which so nicely reflects the way a photographerwould depict scenes, all the while being so very expressive. A really nice and empathic telling of Maier's life, I'm glad I found this (and even more glad to have gotten a gorgeous drawing inside the cover from the author at Toulon's Fête du Livre)
