I enjoyed this but dang is this plot complicated and subtly conveyed. I expect I'll be kind of lost by the time Alecto comes out, but I am ready to accept that.

@mouse this was my feeling with Nona (and Harrow) also. Both books had me thinking that I needed to re-read their predecessor because things were familiar but not quite there for me to connect. Maybe I’ll learn my lesson for Alecto.
