The metaphor of comparing employees to plants in a garden feels a bit stretched at time, but it does make the concepts easier to recall. Overall worth reading, but I didn't come across any concepts that felt revolutionary.

Lots of interesting, valuable insights. Maybe a bit too narrowly focused

The book suggests that a lot of the gig-economy is simply not sustainable, and risks bringing capitalism close to what feudalism was.
The suggestion is that giving teams and people clear mandate, and putting productivity at the heart of the conversation can lead to a 100% compensation, 80% work time, 100% productivity setup that benefits everyone.
Certainly worth reading...
