The tension improved in the second half of the book. Compared to Cantarella by You Higuri, the historical context felt majorly lacking, but at least one history-based plot development was present. It is cool that it gave fans of the Vocaloid song a deeper look at the relationship and story it's based on. I hope it gets more people to find Higuri-sensei's manga, too!
