It started out hard for me personally to emphasize with, but as the story went on I feel like I gained an appreciation of what they were feeling, especially the emotions in the second half. I loved checking the red highlights and noticing the few pages with no red at all. The art style really showed the process but that wasn't a bad thing at all.
