Wow, what an amazing surprise this book was. I went into it with no idea what it was about, purely reading it because its sequel is Hugo nominated this year. This won its own Hugo and I can see why. A great "hard" sci fi novel, reminded me a bit of Ninefox Gambit, but where that was military, this is political. Can't recommend this highly enough.
