Even having read this book before, watched movies and TV shows, it strikes me how absolutely masterful of a mystery this is
@pelagikat I really liked the ending, but will be honest - my eyes skipped over the long descriptions of where thrust should be created so that gravity was created like this and that 😆 I found these details fun at first but eventually they were just too many!

This wasn't really my thing. The detailed descriptions of scientific processes were a little exhausting after a certain point, the main character is kind of annoying and the part of the plot that takes place on earth is.. Not great. However I loved the space romp side of it, and found the ending quite sweet 😄

I'm halfway through this book and all the explanations of how the protagonist Solves Things With Science are getting a little too annoying. It's just very, A Kind Of Guy. I am also absolutely fed up with every single chapter that takes place on earth, but the ones in space are cool enough to keep me going!
