I didn't know a thing about Ariel Levy until I saw her on the calendar for Sixth and Eye's author series in DC. The word "feminist" jumped out at me so I bought a ticket and the book came with the price of admission. I'm glad this chanced across my radar - Levy is a strong writer who is willing to take an honest look in the mirror with everyone watching. The book centers around her own experience with motherhood (something to put off until later, then something to pursue with urgency, then a heartbreaking yet beautiful disaster). This book reminds women that we can do a lot, but no one can have it all.
