Review of 'The darkest minds' on 'Storygraph'

This dystopian read was a book I probably would never have picked up on my own, but I'm glad to have read it, thanks to the Underrated Bookers group. The author does a good job of creating truly believable characters who have been through things that she can only have imagined. The ending came as a bit of a hit in the jaw and sent me reeling, but by no means was it a bad ending. In a somewhat sadistic way, I really liked the end. I may only ever read this book once, but out has been an enjoyable read that I won't forget.
