Indigenous Anticolonial Sci-Fi

I love everything about this graphic novel. The concept of using the project as a tool for indigenous language preservation is what drew me in, but Cole Pauls is also such an incredibly talented illustrator.

Beautiful

What an incredible graphic novel. The author captures so much depth and insight about the real world through delightful/funny/relatable stories of cyclopes.

I highly recommend checking this one out (both figuratively and literally - I got a digital copy from my lobrary!)

Insightful and Delightfully Weird

I learned a lot about Benedict Cumberbatch, but I learned even more about the author's journey in learning find joy in a world that is dead set on forcing women to abandon their interests, hobbies, and personalities to fit socially accepted norms.

This book felt uncomfortable at times, but the author did a good job of examining why certain things make people uncomfortable. Definitely a book that made me check my privilege as a cis-het man.
